Global macro hedge fund seeks analyst to assist the manager in researching long/short ideas across equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on investment opportunities in various sectors
- Assist in the development and implementation of investment strategies
- Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance and make recommendations for adjustments
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to assess risk and return profiles of potential investments
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on investment findings and recommendations
- Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and financial news to inform investment decisions
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficiency in investment banking concepts and financial modeling techniques
- Excellent research and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis

Please note that prior experience in investment management, especially hedge funds, is preferred for this role.
