Requirements
As a Echocardiogram Technologist in the Heart Center this patient care provider will possess knowledge, training, experience, and be competent in the following: the ability to obtain and interpret information, a knowledge of adult/geriatric growth and development, and an understanding of the range of treatments needed by these patients. EKG interpretation, computer skills, radiation safety, competency in use of Echo equipment, sterile technique, patient handling skills, and a moderate degree of manuel dexterity are essential.
