Leading Acupuncture & Integrative Healing Center Seeks Wellness Coordinator & Social Media Assistant
We are a leading Acupuncture and natural medicine clinic specializing in pain management, women's health and fertility in Irvine. Our clinic is patient centered and every member of our team is a part of our family and our wellness community. We are seeking a highly motivated medical assistant and wellness coordinator with 2+ years of experience working in a medical office, who is professional, accurate, trustworthy, energetic, spiritually grounded and friendly, with excellent phone skills, a great work ethic, a positive attitude, and a team member spirit to join our practice.
Requirements include:
- Health-conscious and mindful about one’s self care and general health and wellbeing
- Supportive of naturopathic medicine, Chinese medicine, and acupuncture
- Ability to handle stress and pressure with grace and calm
- Clear and assertive communication skills with patients and staff are essential
- Accurate data entry skills and great attention to detail
- Creating and formatting letters to patients and doctors
- Scheduling appointments, collecting payment, knowledge of Word, Excel, and electronic medical record system
- Organization skills – scanning lab results, clinical handouts and paperwork
- Phone skills – able to handle busy phones, triaging calls and support doctor/patient communication
- Ordering and receiving supplements, maintaining inventory and shipping orders and lab kits to patients
- Medical assistance experience – attentive patient care experience including rooming patients, cleaning and setting up treatment rooms, laboratory instruction, prescription refill and request assistance, and supportive documentation in the EMR system
Preferred experience:
- 2 years of Quickbooks experience, 2 years of electronic medical record experience, E-commerce store management experience, Internet and social media marketing
Part time or Full time position. 20-34 hours plus per week and must be able to work some Saturdays.
Pay rate is $17-$24 and depends on experience. Complimentary monthly acupuncture or chiropractic treatments will be provided including supplements at cost.
Possible Work Hours:-
Mondays 8:30 - 6 pm
Tuesdays 8:30 - 6:30 pm
Wednesdays 9 - 6 pm
Thursdays 8:30 - 6 pm
Fridays: 9am - 6pm
Additional Saturday hours may be required.
Additional hours to assist social media manager may be available
