United Performance Metals (UPM) is seeking a dedicated individual to join our Additive Manufacturing team in Hamilton, OH. This position will involve the distribution of specialty metals worldwide. With the support of O’Neal Industries, a company with a century of expertise, this role provides an opportunity to learn and grow in a global environment.

Working Hours: 7:00AM - 4:00PM
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:- Responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations and engineering, including safety, housekeeping, 5S, lean practices, on-time customer delivery, production efficiency, cost control, inventory accuracy, shipping, receiving, employee development, and compliance.
- Provide effective leadership to ensure an efficient and safe work environment.
- Hire and conduct performance reviews for warehouse personnel in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Develop and implement goals and objectives for direct and indirect reports aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and implement personal development plans for employees through performance reviews.
- Train and develop employees on performance improvement, behavior, and career development.
Manufacturing Operations:- Ensure efficient execution of daily production and shipment schedules.
- Track key performance indicators and take corrective actions to address performance gaps.
- Coordinate with sales and production planning to ensure timely order processing and shipment.
- Optimize equipment utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Maintain and communicate equipment lead-times for customer delivery commitments.
- Identify and address capacity constraints and bottlenecks.
- Track and control warehouse costs through cost-saving initiatives.
Other:- Ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
- Maintain inventory integrity.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience in Manufacturing Leadership
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Analytical and interpretive skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt certification required (or in progress)
