SUMMARY:

We are looking for a talented and creative Content Creator to join our team. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating and editing videos that are both informative and entertaining. You must have a passion for creating content that connects with a wide range of audiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating engaging and entertaining videos for social media platforms, with a focus on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and IG Reels
  • Editing and refining video content to ensure it meets the highest standards of quality
  • Understanding and utilizing TikTok trends and conventions in your content creation
  • Pitching new and innovative ideas for videos that align with TikTok trends and conventions
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless production and execution
  • Staying up-to-date with current trends and techniques in video editing and content creation
  • Developing opportunities with pre-existing audio/visual content to create new assets including remixes and edits
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Work with internal partners to communicate schedules, assets and delivery of all content produced
  • Having a finger on the pulse of what's going on in pop/rock culture, across key internet trends, apps, influencers, etc.
  • Making content plans, taking into consideration data and algorithms to drive content creation
  • Fluid contributions to multiple projects within a rapidly evolving environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Process oriented with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to understand operations, delivery processes, supply chain, and technology issues
  • Excellent time management skills and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance multiple priorities
  • Proficient in video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, IG Reels best practices and trends
  • Experience in short-form and long-form content creation
  • Knowledge of social media and current platforms of entertainment consumption and marketing
  • Passion for understanding algorithms and data-driven content creation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passionate about creating and editing engaging video content
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, etc...)
  • Prior experience working with project management software a plus (Monday, Asana, etc...)
  • Strong interest in pop culture
  • Strong interest in content creation trends and future platforms
