The Psychiatry Department is seeking a Clinical Trials Associate I for their SENSE Lab to coordinate a novel intervention that incorporates theatre techniques and b! ehavioral strategies for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our lab studies behavioral, biological and neural bases of social perception, emotion regulation and stress responsivity. Research methods include neuropsychological measures, hormone assays, detailed behavioral coding and imaging.
Performs a variety of duties involved in the collection, interpretation, and documentation of data in support of clinical trials. Assists in ensuring adherence to protocols, appropriate regulations, and deadlines. Ensures quality of information received.
Key Functions and Expected Performances:
Coordinating subject recruitment and retention, monitor enrollment goals and modify recruitment strategies as necessary
Maintain IRB documentation including IRB annual reporting and modifications, as well as Federal grant and data sharing required procedures
Develop study materials and protocols with PI and implement participant and family ! consent form process
Maintain accurate source reporti! ng from research participants and study personnel.
Coordinate with PI on the timeline for study procedures and research goals
Establish RedCap database and perform data management.
Assist in designing forms for scientific data collection. Assist in preparation of data for statistical analysis and graphic display. Assist investigators in preparing the data for presentations/publications.
Process subject data, develop and maintain procedures for sample collection and storage.
Order and maintain inventory of supplies, subject compensation.
Train and supervise research staff and students involved in the study protocol, as directed.
Share responsibility for general tasks of daily activities of the research unit, including telephone services, photocopying, and filing.

This is a full-time, hourly position.
Salary is commensurate upon years of education and experience! .

Basic Qualifications
Job requires Associates and 1 year of experience or the equivalent.
Bachelor's degree strongly desired,
preferably in neuroscience or psychology, etc.
Strong organizational skills are required.
Experience with clinical trials or behavioral treatment research highly preferred.
General knowledge in the areas of neurodevelopmental disorders is helpful.
Comfortable interacting with children, adolescents, and adults is necessary.
