The Loan Scenario Analyst is the subject matter expert for FundLoans products and interpretation of investor guidelines. The Loan Scenario Analyst is responsible for providing timely responses to requests for guidance related to product and credit policy guidelines, income analysis and loan structure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Primary contact for phone calls and email inquiries from our Account Executives, Brokers and staff regarding loan scenarios.

· Responsible for fielding complex loan scenarios and providing lending solutions.

· Ability to understand and remain knowledgeable about the Company’s loan programs, underwriting and investor guidelines; serves as subject matter expert.

· Analyze various underwriting scenarios and suggest potential alternate options with different investors/programs.

· Analyze and calculate borrower income using alternative documentation sources such as bank statements and tax returns.

· Create solutions through proactive problem solving and researching to answer product, process, and guideline questions.

· Exercise appropriate judgment and authority in answering scenarios by providing appropriate program and response.

· Exercise strategic thinking by looking outside of the question being submitted, anticipate any impacts the scenario may have on other areas of the loan; look for alternative ways to make the loan work.

· Ensures adherence with Company guidelines.

· Identifying and analyzing trends in question topics and provides feedback to partners for FAQ(s) and/or policy updates.

· Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· 3+ years of mortgage product experience; Non-Agency preferred

· Underwriting or similar experience required; prior Non-Agency underwriting preferred

· Strong knowledge of product guidelines - particularly Non-Agency.

· Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining the highest level of customer service, professional composure, and integrity.

· Ability to organize, prioritize workload, meet deadlines and handle detailed assignments

· Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

· Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, taking pride in client-centric service and communications

· Demonstrates analytical thinking - analyzes information and identifies key issues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $48.00 per hour
