We are seeking those with a deep understanding of, and interest in, the ways system design enables organizational strategy and design. We’re looking for those and who bring applied experience in designing organizational systems – inclusive of lateral networks, core structures, operating models & processes, and talent & organizational capability. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable, resilient, and have the flexibility to work across multiple projects.

In this role you will…
  • Lead a team: Finding and developing exceptional talent for the OD team; actively providing partners with coaching, feedback and development opportunities that drive high engagement and growth; and role modeling our Role and Behavior Expectations and Mission & Values.
  • Lead Organizational Design Strategy: Managing our Organizational Design practice that enables leaders to build sustainable organizational structures and operating models to achieve their strategy. This includes further evolving our organizational design strategies, standards, tools, and processes that’ll be used systematically to drive consistency at scale.
  • Deliver with excellence: Creating end-to-end transformative OD solutions from organizational assessment to design and implementation in partnership with business unit executives, their teams, and partner resources business partners.
  • Be collaborative: Working cross-functionally and in close partnership with the business unit leaders, their teams, and Partner Resources to develop and implement integrated Org Design initiatives.
  • Manage external experts: Identifying and collaborating with qualified external consultants as needed, monitoring, and managing their work.
  • Measure impact: Developing and implementing Organizational Health metrics, reporting, and Dashboards to enable business leaders and partner resources business partners in assessing problems to solve and necessary interventions.

We’d love to hear from people with:
  • 15+ years’ experience in a combination of human resources, organizational development, consulting, coaching, leadership development, I/O psychology, or related field
  • Established Org Design practitioner with demonstrated skill and experience working on large scale Org Design engagements with significant change leadership elements and delivering behavioral transformation, 12 years
  • Experience designing strategy and leading large-scale OD projects, 12 years
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, challenge paradigms to create solutions that haven’t existed before, and manage through a multitude of differing opinions and passion from leaders, 12 years
  • Strong systems thinking and organizational design skills, seeking to understand the interconnectedness of the organizational system and ability to select the optimal levers to pull to drive desired outcome(s)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills within multiple complex environments and teams who may have diverse viewpoints and need states
  • Ability to apply industry experience and “next practice org design” thinking
  • Ability to build strong relationships, quickly, with a variety of different thinkers and functions
  • Ability to form and lead cross-functional teams through design efforts, inclusive of facilitating diverse perspectives to align on a path forward
  • Strong organizational health analytics skills and ability to lead enterprise Org Health metrics and dashboards
  • Organizational development degree, certification and/or experience required
  • Human Centered Design certification/experience preferred

If you live in the greater Seattle area, we offer a flexible workplace that allows for hybrid work. Partners are expected to be in the office 3 days per week and can work remotely up to two days per week.

The pay range for this position may be narrower than that displayed, depending on where the work is performed
