We are seeking a Medical Facility Claims Collector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ASC Claim followup to include reconsiderations and appeals, coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and medical billing.
Duties:
- Review and analyze patient accounts for accuracy and completeness
- Collect payment from insurance companies and patients
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denied claims
- Resolve billing issues and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all collections activities
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in medical billing and collections
- Knowledge of ASC, coding, ICD-9, ICD-10
- Familiarity with insurance billing procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
