We are interested in speaking with Psychiatrists who have a proven background in Physician Leadership and Utilization Management. The Corizon Regional Psychiatric Director monitors all psychiatric aspects associated with behavioral healthcare services. Has authority, responsibility, and accountability for effecting and monitoring compliance of psychiatric services with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, DOC or jail contract requirements, and ACA/NCCHC standards. Coordination and effective administration of psychiatric services as further described below as well as administrative guidance and support to site behavioral health staff and Regional Management.
Supervises: All Psychiatrists and ARNPs
Supervised by: Senior Vice President and Regional Administrator (Administratively)
Vice President of Clinical Services ( Clinically)
Required Credentials:
Heavy and successful background in Utilization Management a must.
Must possess or be eligibl! e for a license in TN and a current DEA registration.
Must be board certified; board prepared, or qualified by the state laws/regulations to practice medicine.
Must have clinical experience in Psychiatry and have current BLS certification.
Experience in healthcare administration preferred.
