JOB SUMMARY:

Parkwest Bicycle Casino is seeking a Human Resources Assistant. Qualified candidate compiles, sorts and verifies data to be entered into the Computer and files records in alphabetical or numerical order, or according to subject matter or other system, by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Files and Enters alphabetic, numeric or symbolic data from source documents into the computer following format displayed on screen.

  • Compiles, sorts and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
  • Compares data entered with source documents. Deletes incorrectly entered data, and re-enters correct data.
  • Does final entry on separated team members. Collects and Consolidates files.
  • High sense of confidentiality required and is essential in this job.
  • Must be detailed- Oriented and have strong organizational skills.
  • Reads incoming material and sorts according to file system.
  • Deletes incorrectly entered data, and re-enters correct data.
  • Places cards, forms, microfiche or other material in storage receptable such as file cabinet, drawer or box.
  • Searches for and investigates information contained in files, inserts additional data on file records, keeps file current, and supplies information from file data or removes files upon request.
  • Keeps records of material removed, stamps material received, traces missing files, and types indexing information on folders as needed.
  • Verifies accuracy of material to be filed.
  • Disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements.
  • Copies records on photocopying or microfilming machines.
  • Answers phones inquiries from internal and external sources regarding employment information.
  • Completes employment verifications received by fax or mail.
  • Assists HRIS Manager and other Managers with various day to day and special projects.
  • Excellent attendance/reliability.
  • Other Job-Related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingual a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accurate typing skills.
