Location: Nashville Tennessee

of the country’s largest full continuum service providers for
youth who struggle with a variety of social, emotional and behavioral
difficulties. At Hermitage Hall, we have developed our treatment

can be maximized through specialized treatment programming designed
around the youth’s age, developmental needs, cognitive level,

Under the
direction of the Medical Director and in collaboration as a member of
the multidisciplinary team, performs assessments, plans and provides
medical care and oversees psychiatric procedures. The
Psychiatrist assures the highest quality of psychiatric services,
provides overall leadership and direction for the Hermitage
Hall adolescent and children's programs, and is responsible for
the assessment and regular reviews of the patients’ responses
to all treatment.

Requirements

POSITION RELATIONSHIPS:

• Direct Supervision:

Medical Director

• Collaborates with: Therapists,

residents, families and all departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MD having completed an

accredited psychiatric residency with experience in Child/Adolescent
Psychiatry and Developmental Issues.

• The Psychiatrist

shall be duly licensed in the State of Tennessee.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in

quality assessment and improvement activities.

• Maintains

contact and provides follow-up information to referral sources.

• Participates in continuing education and in-service

offerings.

• Participates in peer review activities.
• Abide by and promote philosophy, policies and procedures,

goals and

• objectives and standards of care set forth by
• Demonstrate all Service Excellence Standards and

Principles.
