Location: TN-Memphis

Other Locations:
New PRN position available in our Clinical Assessment Center at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis.
Will be scheduled to work all shifts as needed (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a), including some weekends.

• Minimum one year previous intake experience is Required for PRN.*

Under the supervision of the Clinical Assessment Manager, position manages inquiry call center and responds appropriately; provides on-site crisis inter! vention services to highly impaired psychiatric patients and t! heir families; ensures patient safety; completes comprehensive clinical assessments based upon patient interviews, and ED/ referral source/family member input; formulates clinical assessment finding and recommendations for review by/with, the on-call psychiatrist to determine patient disposition; and facilitates the disposition and facilitates the disposition, includes transfer, insurance verification/authorization, including transfer, insuranec verification/authorization, registration and coordination with inpatient unit and staff.
Education: M.A./M.S. or equivalent

Experience: One (1) to two (2) years psychatric/behavioral health experience and clinical skills.

Licensure/Certification(s): Current TN Licensed LMSW, LCSW, LAPSW, LMFT or LPC. BLS also required. CPI will be obtained during Hospital Orientation.
