Sr. Staff Accountant

Description: University Medical Center is in need of Sr. Staff Accountant right now, this position will be delegated in Tennessee. The Sr Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing month end close journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reports, analysis of financial and statistical data. The Sr Staff Accountan! t will be required to work on special projects as needed.

Requirements
Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations. Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care. The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; as is the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written word. Must be flexible with work scheduling. Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.
