Materials Tech is primarily responsible for retrieving and delivering stock to all hospital supply locations, and to
count and stock nursing par areas. The expectation is for the! Materials Tech to become familiar with all supply locations so specific needs are
proactively addressed. Additionally the Materials Tech is to assist with other
departmental functions; this consists of cycle counts, entering patient
charges, receiving and distributing stock from vendors, correctly labeling and
identifying stock items, participating in year â€"end inventory audits, being
computer literate as it relates to producing and interpreting reports, and
assisting other departments as directed by the materials management director.
Requirements
High School diploma.
1-3 years work experience, materials background preferred
