Position Responsibilities:
1.Evaluate and diagnose individuals who are exp! eriencing a psychiatric emergent/urgent or routine condition in an outpatient setting, face-to-face and/or by telehealth.
2.Pharmacological treatment for patients including prescribing medications using InfoScriber, as well as providing follow-up.
3.Facilitate admitting patients to the hospital or respite and consulting with MCRT when needed.
4.Coordinate medical aspects of treatment with Nurse, Case Management Supervisor and Case Managers.
5.Participate and provide supervision of the multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and provide consultation by phone when needed.
6.Maintain active role in treatment team or with UrgiCare staff.
7.Seek supervision from supervising MD as appropriate.
8.Consult with outside Physicians regarding case managed consumers as necessary.
9.Follow protocols as established by the Chief Medical Officer and Clinic Practice Director.
Position Requirements: Tennessee Licensed Psychiatrist or Valid Ten! nessee APN license Family or Adult Psychiatric and Mental Heal! th Nurse Practitioner certification; Valid Tennessee driver’s license; Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR); “F†Endorsement; Acceptable criminal background investigation; Personal automobile insurance.
