Description: We are currently seeking a qualified Medical Director for the Emergency Departmen! t at Sycamore Shoals Hospital located in Elizabethton, Tennessee. The 14-bed Emergency Department provides emergency care to over 25,000 patients annually. The department has lab, radiology and pharmacy services available 24 hours a day. All physicians are partners with Appalachian Emergency Physicians, a Virginia based corporation a registered limited liability partnership.
Physician partners have the option to participate in a 401(k) plan with immediate 100% vesting. Additionally, physician partners are eligible for health, life, disability, optical, and dental insurance through payroll deduction. Malpractice insurance with unlimited tail coverage or on an occurrence basis is provided.The Medical Directors compensation package includes a substantial monthly stipend. ECI also offers concierge style scheduling, credentialing, and recruiting services.
