Controller

Description: University Medical Center is presently looking of Controller right now, this position will be dwelled in Tennessee. The Controller is responsible for preparing month end close journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reports, analysis of financial and statistical data. The Controller will be required to work ! on special projects as needed. The position is a transitional one. After 18 to 24 months training at our facility, must be willing to relocate to another HMA facility into a CFO position.

Requirements
Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations. Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage care delivery across the continuum of care. The ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing required; as is the ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written word. Must be flexible with work scheduling. Involves discretion and independent action within prescribed limits.
