Description: University Medical Center is currently interviewing Certified Pharmacy Tech - Experience Required right now, this position will be presented in Tennessee. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please read the description below. P repares medication for delivery to patient, delivers medications to nursing stations, restocks automated dispensing cabinets. P! re-packages medication into unit-dose containers, following appropriate guidelines and labeling procedures. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations. Prepares I.V. admixture formulations using aseptic technique. Assists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication. Receives and stores incoming supplies, checks inventories for outdated supplies. Maintains and processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to hospital patient and enters data in computer. Train and supervise new technicians in all phases of pharmacy operation.
