Position includes providing direct individual and group therapy services to older adult mental health consumers. Other duties include performing initial assessments, maintaining treatment plans and completing all cl! inical documentation. No weekends, holidays, or after hours on-call required. Position may include very limited home and community based services.
The Older Adult Specialty treatment team includes psychiatrists, nurses, nurse practitioners, therapists, and case managers who coordinate care for adults over the age of 50 in Davidson county with behavioral health diagnoses. We create and deliver individualized treatment plans designed to meet the goals of each client. We also educate older adults and family members, empowering them to play an important role in the process.
Requirements:
Tennessee LCSW license is required. Clinical experience with older adults is preferred.
