Requirements
As a cardiovascular technologist in the Heart Center this patient care provider will possess knowledge, training, experience, and be competent in the following: the ability to obtain and interpret information, a knowledge of adult/geriatric growth and development, and an understanding of the range of treatments needed by these patients. EKG interpretation, computer skills, radiation safety, sterile technique, patient handling skills, and a moderate degree of manual dexterity are essential.
