Job Description:
The NP will conduct history and physicals and manage pharmacological treatment for a diverse adult female population. Consult and collaborate with other team members in the development and implementation of treatment plans. Contribute to the professional knowledge and growth of the team. Collect, document, and analyze client data. Coordinate client care with ancillary clinical services. Make appropriate referrals to consulting medical staff.
Requirements:
Graduate degree and Nurse Practitioner certification with experience in psychiatry Board certified Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee Minimum 2 years experience in general psychiatry; experience in adult residential treatment highly desirable Superior diagnostic and clinical skills Ability to prioritize and perform with minimal direction General knowledge of treatment of substance abuse very important Current DEA certificate Current BLS and First Aid certifications
